Fast shipping, I ordered on Monday and received it on tuesday!
I've been using birdseye fabric (diaper cloth) for several years now to make unpapertowels; I had previously purchased my fabric from another store but since the pandemic birdseye fabric is now hard to find since from what I read it is being used to make facemasks. I searched for over a wk online and in store including joanns for this fabric, it was out of stock everywhere so I was thrilled when google showed me this store! I read the 3 reviews and since someone had said that it is thicker than joanns I placed my order; the fabric that I had previously used was much thicker than joanns which I prefer for making unpapertowels. I received my order in a day thank you, I prewashed, dried, ironed, and began sewing yesterday; it is much thinner than what I had previously used, maybe thicker than joanns but it's been some time since I've seen it there so hard to compare. I struggled with this fabric as it is thin and it kept getting stuck in my sewing machine, it also frays VERY EASILY, I spent quite a bit of time finding a setting on my machine that would suffice, also spent a lot of time after sewing cutting off frays, this is no fault of goods store, I have only been sewing for several years so it'd say me being novice may have had something to do with the issues I was having, if you're using or have used this fabric for the same purpose as I, I would love some advice on how to sew them. If you're a first time sewer using this fabric for unpapertowels, I don't recommend it, if I had started sewing with this fabric I personally would've quit sewing (I am self taught).
All in all like I said in my title, it will do, I've got it to where it works for the purpose I need it for and if it is out of stock at my previous store I would order it from here again now that I've managed to make it work.
